Game Your Game Begins Trading on Nasdaq
Golf technology company Game Your Game has officially completed its direct listing on the Nasdaq, with trading commencing on Thursday, July 30, marking another technology-focused company entering the public markets through a direct listing rather than a traditional initial public offering.
The Palo Alto, California-based company now trades under the ticker symbol GYGY.
Unlike a conventional IPO, the listing did not involve the issuance of new shares or the raising of additional capital. Instead, existing shareholders gained the ability to trade their shares publicly, while Maxim Group served as the company’s financial advisor. There were no underwriting banks involved in the transaction.
AI-Powered Platform Modernizes Golf Performance Tracking
Game Your Game develops and markets technology designed to help golfers improve their performance through artificial intelligence, wearable hardware, and advanced analytics.
Its flagship KZN AI system combines proprietary wearable technology with embedded neural network capabilities that automatically detect golf shots during play. The device records each shot and pairs it with GPS location data, allowing golfers to review detailed performance metrics after every round.
The company markets its products under the GameGolf brand, targeting recreational players, competitive amateurs, and golf enthusiasts seeking data-driven performance improvement.
Subscription Software Supports Recurring Revenue
Beyond hardware sales, Game Your Game generates recurring revenue through subscription-based software services.
Subscribers gain access to the company’s mobile application, which delivers shot history, performance analytics, AI-powered coaching recommendations, and detailed insights into playing patterns. The combination of hardware sales and recurring software subscriptions provides the company with a diversified revenue model commonly seen among connected fitness and sports technology businesses.
The platform is designed to help golfers analyze strengths and weaknesses while tracking long-term progress using artificial intelligence and location-based performance data.
Prior Financing Established Equity Reference
Earlier this year, the company strengthened its capital structure through a financing transaction with Streeterville Capital.
In March 2026, Streeterville Capital purchased a convertible note carrying an implied common equity reference price of $8 per share, providing investors with an indication of the company’s valuation prior to its public market debut.
The direct listing allows existing shareholders to establish market pricing through public trading rather than through an underwritten offering.
Growing Sports Technology Market
Game Your Game enters the public markets as demand continues to grow for connected sports technologies that combine wearable devices, cloud software, artificial intelligence, and personalized analytics.
The golf technology sector has increasingly adopted AI-powered coaching, GPS tracking, and digital performance tools as both amateur and professional golfers seek more precise ways to improve their games. The company’s integrated hardware-and-software ecosystem positions it within the expanding market for sports performance technology.
Outlook
Game Your Game’s Nasdaq direct listing provides public market access without shareholder dilution from a traditional IPO. As the company expands its AI-powered golf analytics platform, investors will focus on subscriber growth, hardware adoption, recurring software revenue, and continued innovation within the rapidly evolving sports technology industry.
