T. Rowe Price is bringing its T. Rowe Price Biotech ETF to the Nasdaq Stock Market, giving investors a new exchange-traded vehicle focused on biotechnology companies. Trading under the ticker TDNA, the fund expands T. Rowe Price’s growing ETF platform into a segment where drug-development breakthroughs, clinical catalysts and changing healthcare spending patterns can create substantial differences between individual companies. Unlike a conventional IPO, the launch does not involve a company selling a fixed number of shares to raise operating capital.

A Dedicated Strategy for the Biotechnology Market

The T. Rowe Price Biotech ETF is designed to provide targeted exposure to the biotechnology industry through a portfolio of companies involved in developing innovative therapies and medical technologies. The strategy gives investors access to an industry that includes established biotechnology businesses as well as smaller companies whose valuations can be heavily influenced by clinical-trial results, regulatory decisions and pipeline developments.
